Stupid bible quote of the week

Jesus doesn’t want you to pray in public; he said so, very clearly.

Thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men….But thou, when thou prayest, enter into the closet, and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret”.

This is from Mathew 6, verses 5 and 6.

    Yeah, one of my favourites. Makes me think of the Pope in St. Peter’s Square.

    And it goes on to say “And thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” That’ll be the day!

    Heh, yeah, I should have kept going with it, but the stupid just burned too badly. I’ve been seriously lacking on the blog as of late, but good to see a new face here.
